Shift Availability:
- Early Shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm
- Late Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Boomerang Healthcare is looking for a compassionate, reliable Female Community Care Assistant with their own vehicle to join our growing team, supporting people to live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes across Jarrow and Hebburn.

What You'll Be Doing
Every visit is an opportunity to improve someone's day and help them remain independent in the place they call home.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting people with washing, dressing, and daily routines
- Preparing meals and refreshments
- Prompting and supporting with medication
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing
- Travelling between clients' homes using your own vehicle
- Building meaningful relationships with the people you support
No two days are the same, but every day you'll make a real difference.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Female applicants only (due to client-specific care requirements)
- A full UK driving licence
- Your own reliable vehicle
- Availability to work alternate weekends, along with weekday mornings and evenings
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
No previous care experience is required – we'll provide full training and ongoing support.
