Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to support the cleanliness and organisation of residential home with 23 beds and communal areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in both domestic and commercial cleaning environments, including hospitals, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. This role is essential for providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety standards, particularly in sensitive environments such as care homes.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist with organising household items and ensuring that spaces are tidy and clutter-free.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding residents' personal information and adhere to privacy guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning is preferred, particularly in hospital settings.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques or processes related to cleaning practices.

Pay: £12.00-£12.30 per hour
