Restaurant Supervisor – The Woodman at Clent

We’re looking for a friendly, professional Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at The Woodman at Clent. As part of our established front-of-house team, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service while leading by example and sharing your strong knowledge of our steaks, wines, and cocktails with every guest.
About the Role:
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll help ensure smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant, supporting the management team and motivating the front-of-house team to deliver consistently high standards. You’ll be confident in guest interaction, service delivery, and team leadership, with strong menu knowledge including steak cuts, cooking styles, wine pairings, and cocktails.
Outstanding hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a busy service are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example to deliver an exceptional guest experience with a warm, knowledgeable, and professional approach
- Support the day-to-day running of service, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout
- Assist in supervising and supporting the front-of-house team during service
- Build strong product knowledge across the food and drinks menus, especially steaks, wines, and cocktails
- Confidently advise guests on menu choices, cooking temperatures, wine pairings, and cocktails
- Maintain excellent standards of table service, timing, cleanliness, and presentation
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues quickly where possible
- Uphold all health, safety, and food hygiene standards
- Support staff training, coaching, and continuous improvement in service standards
About You:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a quality restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong interest and knowledge in steaks, wines, and/or cocktails
- Confident communicator with a friendly and professional manner
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a team
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering a consistent, polished guest experience
- A positive, can-do attitude and a strong team player
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve product knowledge and service skills

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
