Job Summary
Working within the Sales office, the House Accounts Co-Ordinator is responsible for managing customer accounts, maintaining accurate customer records, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The role acts as a key link between customers, sales, and suppliers to ensure the smooth delivery and ongoing support of stairlift products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of house accounts and maintain regular communication with customers.
- Handle customer enquiries regarding stairlift sales, servicing, repairs, and warranties.
- Maintain accurate house account records within Sales Force.
- Process contracts, quotations, orders, and account documentation.
- Ensure customer information complies with company and data protection requirements.
- Liaise with house accounts and internal stakeholders to optimise schedules.
- Monitor job progress and provide updates to customers.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries.
- Resolve customer service issues promptly.
Administrative Support
- Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and service agreements.
- Support the sales team with administrative activities and account updates.
- Generate reports relating to house accounts.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Handle complaints and escalate complex issues where necessary.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, engineers, logistics, operations staff, and management.
- Assist in monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Previous experience in account coordination, customer service, administration, or scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable
- Experience within the stairlift, mobility, healthcare, medical equipment, or service industry.
- Knowledge of Sales Force or equivalent CRM software.
- Understanding of mobility products and home accessibility solutions.
