DWF are seeking a highly motivated Solicitor or Associate to join our market-leading Dispute Resolution team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex, high-value litigation and advisory matters across a range of sectors, including commercial contracts, corporate disputes (i.e. warranty, earn out and other “deal” related disputes), director and shareholder claims (in particular, unfair prejudice claims), bringing and defending applications for urgent injunctive relief and acting for claimants in professional negligence claims (solicitor/accountant). In addition there will be an opportunity to work on public laws disputes (judicial review and public procurement) and defendant group actions claims (mostly in the cyber/data breach space).
Whilst the team operates as national structure team supporting the wider DWF Regional offices throughout the UK, this role is based in our Manchester office.

Lead and manage commercial litigation matters, taking ownership of appropriate cases and supporting on complex disputes under Partner supervision.

Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice to a diverse client base, including corporates, public bodies and regulated entities.

Take ownership of day-to-day case management, including disclosure, interim applications, and client reporting.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing pragmatic commercial advice.

Contribute to business development and networking activities and the growth of the practice.
What will help you succeed in this role? :
Key Experience and Skills:

A qualified solicitor with a strong background in commercial litigation/ disputes.

Proven ability to provide proactive case management at all stages of a dispute, including large-scale disclosure exercises and complex procedural applications

Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.

A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to mentoring and team development.
