Duties
- Serve beverages and food to guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Prepare drinks according to standard recipes while maintaining high-quality presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, following proper culinary techniques.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent guest services, including upselling menu items.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between the bar and kitchen.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary experience is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing orders accurately.
- A proactive approach to upselling menu items and enhancing the customer experience.
