Heating Engineer
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Heating Engineer to join an established business based in Belfast, working across Greater Belfast and County Down.
The company provides gas, oil, plumbing and heating installation, maintenance and repair services to both public and private sector clients across Northern Ireland. Their client base includes Housing Associations, Health Trusts, the Education Authority, Facilities Management companies and Local Councils.
Following the award of several new long-term contracts, they are looking to expand their existing team of 25 engineers.
The Role
As a Heating Engineer, you will be working across both domestic and commercial properties, with responsibilities including:
- Carrying out reactive plumbing and heating works
- Carrying out planned plumbing and heating works across domestic and commercial properties
- Fault-finding and carrying out repairs to heating systems
- Carrying out general plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Completing all required paperwork using a company-supplied tablet
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and within contractual deadlines
- Providing a professional service to clients and customers
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating
- Previous experience carrying out plumbing and heating works
- Experience working across domestic and/or commercial properties
- Strong maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A valid AccessNI Basic Disclosure Certificate will be required for the role
