We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive SEND school in Maidenhead that is looking for a committed SEND Classroom Teacher to join their experienced team. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, giving you the chance to secure a permanent position within a nurturing and well-supported school community.
This role offers the opportunity to inspire pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them build confidence, develop independence and achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment. You'll be supported by experienced teaching assistants, senior leaders and specialist staff who are committed to delivering outstanding education for every child.

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual SEND needs.

Create a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive.

Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist professionals to support pupils' progress.

Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning, communication and behavioural needs.

Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, setting achievable learning targets.

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.

Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of pupil welfare at all times.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience working with children with SEND, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.

A passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Right to work in the UK.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Experience teaching pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD or complex learning needs.

Knowledge of EHCPs and differentiated teaching strategies.

Experience working within a specialist SEND school.
