Horizons Homecare is a friendly, locally run home care provider in Lancaster, and we are looking for a caring and reliable Male Home Care Assistant to join our team.
This position is currently for 7 hours every Thursday, supporting one of our regular male clients in their own home. As our service continues to grow, we will aim to offer additional hours where suitable, particularly with clients whose care needs allow for male care professionals.
£200 Training Bonus paid after successful completion of training and probation period.*

Your Role
As a Home Care Assistant, you will support people in their own homes to help them live safely and independently.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Supporting with medication
- Meal preparation and support with nutrition
- Light household tasks
- Companionship and emotional support
- Helping clients maintain independence and dignity
