Trainee Data Cabling Engineer - Location: Nr. Winchester - Permanent Full Time position
£26,78.44-£33,000 depending on experience + travel/over-time/overnight supplement/pension/free life assurance/training/tools/20 days holiday, increasing by 1 day a year up to 25 days + plus bank holidays
Driving licence essential. You will be required to have a free DBS check (formerly CRB)
Essential to be living within a 15 mile radius/25-30 minute drive of Winchester
The Company - Established in 1997, we are specialist data cabling company working throughout the UK for a broad range of corporate clients and small businesses across the health, education, business and entertainment sectors.
The Job
You will be required to carry out complete installations from start to finish with data cabling, termination and testing of cat5e, cat6, cat6a, cat 7, fibre optic, CCTV and AV Installations.
- This is a permanent full time position for a practically-minded individual interested in developing a career within the data cabling industry.
- You will be trained by experienced engineers on-the-job and also sent on courses
- You will be learning on the job how to install and terminate data cables while assisting our existing engineering teams with cabling installation work, organising and re-cabling communications cabinets, and carrying out other equipment installations as required
- Installing and terminating of copper, fibre optic, voice and AV cabling systems
