The Role
As our MOT Centre Manager, you'll become the heart of our operation.
You'll be responsible for running the front office and ensuring every customer receives an outstanding experience from the moment they book until they collect their vehicle.
Working alongside our experienced MOT Testers, you'll manage the diary, customer communications and administration while helping us build one of the most respected independent MOT centres in Wiltshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily MOT booking diary
- Answer incoming telephone and email enquiries
- Welcome customers and provide exceptional service
- Operate our modern MOT management and CRM system
- Process customer payments and invoices
- Manage online bookings
- Send MOT reminders and customer communications
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
- Liaise with MOT Testers throughout the day
- Maximise workshop utilisation and diary efficiency
- Encourage Google reviews and customer feedback
- Support bookkeeping administration using QuickFile
- Help build a positive reputation within the local community

Experience
Essential
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills
Desirable
- Motor trade experience
- Service Advisor or Workshop Reception experience
- Experience using garage management software
- Knowledge of DVSA MOT operations
