Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. Duties
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installations and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety legislation.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections thoroughly.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople or team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Assist in upgrading existing electrical infrastructure as required.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
- Competence with power tools including drills, saws, and testing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable.
Pay: From £800.00 per week
