Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Relief Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team in the Preston area. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of our client’s site, ensuring all access and control procedures are followed to the highest standard.
- Nights and days : 19:00 to 07:00 and 07:00 to 19:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Control access to and from the site.
- Greet and process visitors, staff, and contractors, recording personnel and vehicle details.
- Direct visitors and contractors appropriately and ensure professional site conduct.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment at all times.
- Prevent unauthorised access and handle incidents professionally.
- Support emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Professionally monitor CCTV.
- Conduct searches in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence (applications without a valid SIA licence will not be considered).
- Full 5-year checkable employment/education history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, reliable, and proactive attitude.
