As a Maintenance Technician M/F/D you will report to Facilities Manager in the Manufacturing based in Telford for a Permanent contract.
What you will do?
As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment in a dynamic industrial environment.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring timely and effective repairs.

Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards, carrying out regular inspections and maintaining a safe working environment.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with production and engineering teams to optimise processes and performance.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules and documentation, while providing technical support and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet operational goals.
What about you?

You hold a relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3 or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering).

You have proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with hands‑on expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs.

You demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to read technical drawings, schematics and machine documentation.

You are comfortable using maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and IT systems (including Microsoft Office and ideally SAP PM).

You are organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

You are flexible and reliable, willing to work shifts, respond to emergencies and operate in hands‑on conditions, with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
