Competent drivers with both PCV & HGV (class 2) entitlement sought for trade plate vehicle deliveries in the UK & EU.
Contracts include delivering new electric buses/coaches from docks or manufacturers to various locations around the UK.
HGV work is mainly chassis/glider delivery around the UK or new specialist vehicles weekly from Germany to the UK then onwards to various locations within the UK.
All travel expenses paid with a company expenses card issued to you. Pay is usually £700 - £1000+ per week depending on days worked. Paid weekly.
We are looking for full time however occasionally sub contracted drivers who have partial availability are useful to us when we’re busy.
Current locations required:
Although the work is national we need drivers who are based at the below locations to keep travel time/expenses down.
Bristol (commutable to Royal Portbury Docks & Southampton Docks)
London or surrounding (commutable to Heathrow area)
Southampton (commutable to Southampton Docks)
Progression to 'Test & Development' driving at UK Test Tracks & Proving Grounds possible for the right drivers.
Due to the high value nature of the vehicles we deliver we evaluate potential new drivers very carefully. This includes a paid evaluation where you will carry out your first job with a member of management present. Your travel expenses and job rate will be paid as if it was a normal job. Successful completion of this will then lead to a weeks paid mentoring with an existing driver.
Frequent nights out are common.

- You have availability to attend a paid evaluation job with another driver/management.
- You are able to stay away in hotels all week if required
- You are used to using public transport nationally and are competent in getting yourself to any location using trains and taxis.

- We occasionally use hire cars or our own pool car to get drivers in-between jobs but mostly drivers use public transport. Can you confirm you are experienced and confident getting yourself around the country using Uber/Taxis, Trains etc..
- Increasingly the job is relying on technology such as whatsapp, uber, expenses app etc.. Can you confirm you have a smart device and are proficient in using such apps?
