Some Registered Manager roles ask you to inherit someone else's culture, systems, and challenges.
This isn't one of them.
We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step into their first registration, to lead the opening of a brand-new children's residential home in Swindon.
This is an opportunity to shape the home from day one. You'll be involved before the first young person moves in, helping establish the culture, build the team, and create a home where children feel safe, valued, and able to thrive.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the registration and opening of the home.
- Recruiting, developing and inspiring your staff team.
- Creating systems and routines that support high-quality care.
- Ensuring the home meets and exceeds Ofsted requirements.
- Building positive relationships with professionals, families and local authorities.
- Creating a stable, nurturing environment where children can achieve positive outcomes.
We'd like to hear from you if you:
- Are an experienced Registered Manager in children's residential care, or
- Are an ambitious Deputy Manager with the skills and experience to step into your first Registered Manager position.
- Have a strong understanding of children's residential regulations and Ofsted expectations.
- Are passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional care.
- Hold (or are working towards) the relevant Level 5 qualification.
