Job Purpose
As a Depot Supervisor, you will have a split role to ensure the efficient running of the depot, including to review the daily programme of works, liaise with other members of management to ensure efficient use of the depot resources, and that sufficient resources of the correct competencies are available to deliver the service.

About the Role
This role is ideal for a tenacious, flexible and enthusiastic individual who is comfortable in splitting their time between carrying out all necessary management duties as a Depot Supervisor, whilst also working on the tools as a Depot Service Engineer to ensure business needs are achieved.
All employees in this role will be fully trained and then rotated within to work on various roles, with the expectation that flexibility is employed to comprehensively and safely carry out all required tasks to completion.
The role also commands flexibility and requires the individual to be able to adapt to business needs, with regards to the work to be completed in where the work demand is required to be fulfilled

Main Duties and Responsibilities (This list is non exhaustive and other areas of responsibility may be included)
- Supervisor
- Key Holder, including being a named point of contact for the intruder alarms across various sites
- Stock Controller
- Retention strip down / repairs / testing
- Trolley handle manufacturing process
- Arc and Mig Welding duties
- Trolley strip down, rebuild and repair
- Trolley stacking and de-stacking
- Stock / parts handling and control
- Truck / vehicle loading and unloading
- General housekeeping
- FLT Driving
- All warehouse / workshop general duties
- Load FSE vans on a Saturday if not completed on a Friday
- Oversee health and safety at the depot and ensure the correct processes are being followed, fire alarm checks, walk rounds, paperwork etc are being completed correctly. Ensure the sign in/out procedure is followed
- Conducting additional ad hoc duties as may be required
- Updating of reports /
- Respond to emails out of hours, including Deputising for the Depot Manger in his absence
Hours of Work
You will be required to work 41.5 hours per week, Monday 6.30am - 5.00pm, Tuesday - Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break
You are also required to work on a Saturday on a rotational basis.
Weekend work as and when required depending on business needs
Additional Hours
You may be required to work a reasonable amount of unpaid additional time on account of business requirements over and above 40 hours per week. This may include evening or weekend working

- Salary TBC
- 29 days annual leave entitlement per holiday year, inclusive of bank holidays, with length of service holiday accrual.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
