Overview
We are a family run company and we are seeking a skilled and reliable class 2 Truck Driver to join our expanding team at our Wolverhampton site four ashes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. Must have 2 years experience. Must be over 25 and have no more than 6 points for insurance purposes. Pay is on a monthly basis. Collections and sometimes deliveries around the west midlands with 1 to 2 runs a day and delivering to Litchfield.

Responsibilities
- Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner, ensuring that all deliveries are completed as scheduled.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Tail lift deliveries maybe required.

Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driving Licence (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Driver cpc is required.

Monday- Friday
Usual starting time 7.30am
Day shifts
No weekend work
28 Days paid holiday including bank holidays
£31000 a year
Including Pension, Bupa health care insurance accessible after 6 months
