About the Role
As our pharmacy continues to grow, we are creating a new delivery driver role to support our expanding delivery service. This is a new position with the opportunity to build the role and increase hours as the service grows. Elm Tree Pharmacy is looking for a friendly and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be the face of the pharmacy in the community- safely delivering prescriptions and healthcare items to patients in their homes, care homes and local facilities. Use of your own vehicle is required and you will be responsible for arranging and paying for own appropriate vehicle insurance. 40p per mile milage allowance, in addition to your hourly rate.
Key Responsibilties
- Collect and deliver prescriptions to customers promptly and courteously.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle paperwork as required.
- Follow all confidential, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Represent Elm Tree Pharmacy with professionalism and care.
Requirements
- Use of own vehicle, with the appropriate insurance.
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the local area preferred.
- Previous pharmacy or delivery experience is an advantage (but not essential).
