Are you an experienced hospitality professional ready for your next challenge? We're looking for a confident, hands-on Deputy Manager to help lead our busy seafront pub.
Working alongside the General Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring excellent customer service, supporting the team, and helping drive sales and standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the General Manager with daily operations
- Leading, motivating, and developing the team
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Managing shifts and ensuring smooth service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and cash handling
- Helping recruit, train, and retain team members
What we're looking for:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a busy pub, bar, or restaurant
- A positive, can-do attitude with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible approach to evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- Personal licence holder preferred (but not essential)
