The role of Moulding Technician:
- Condition setting and tool changing
- Troubleshooting and resolving production and process issues
- Carrying out preventative and basic maintenance activities
- Supporting machine uptime and responding to breakdowns effectively
- Working closely with the Maintenance Team to minimise downtime
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Supporting the efficient running of moulding machines, automation equipment, robots, and associated ancillary machinery
The ideal Moulding Technician:
- Previous experience within plastic injection moulding
- Strong processing and fault-finding knowledge
- Hands-on experience resolving moulding and production issues
- Experience maintaining moulding machinery and automation equipment
- Good attention to detail and documentation skills
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
