Founded in 2009, we have enjoyed consistent levels of strong growth since inception, primarily through our flagship brand Worktop Express, the UK’s #1 online worktop retailer selling over 220,000 worktops per year to our B2C consumer base.
The business joined the €1bn+ global materials division of Broadview Holding in 2020 (alongside Formica, Westag, Trespa, Arpa and Homapal), and are now looking to invest towards the future. Job Summary
As a Junior Buyer, you will support in creating, maintaining, and developing product ranges that meets our customers' needs. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to source products, maintain accurate product information, and help deliver commercial objectives across both our Retail and Trade channels.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their buying career, gaining hands-on experience in supplier management, product development, market analysis, and commercial decision-making within a fast-paced retail environment.
Previous experience in a retail Buying is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of product ranges.
- Source products and manage day-to-day supplier relationships.
- Assist with negotiations, product specifications, and pricing.
- Monitor sales, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Work with Merchandising and Marketing to support promotions and launches.
- Maintain accurate product data and buying administration.
- Prepare reports and presentations to support commercial decisions.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality and delivery standards.
