We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to join our leadership team at St Minver House Care Home, working alongside our existing Registered Manager under a dual registration arrangement.
St Minver House is a welcoming 37-bed residential care home specialising in residential and dementia care for older people. Situated on the beautiful North Coast of Cornwall, close to Wadebridge and Rock, the home offers an excellent opportunity to combine a rewarding career with an outstanding lifestyle.
About the Role
As a Registered Manager, you will share responsibility for the overall leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of the home. Working collaboratively with the existing Registered Manager, you will ensure that residents receive the highest standards of care while leading and supporting a dedicated staff team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing effective day-to-day operational management of the home.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of person-centred care for residents.
- Leading, motivating, and developing the staff team.
- Promoting a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture.
- Managing quality assurance, audits, and continuous service improvement.
- Working closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Supporting occupancy, staffing, budgets, and the overall performance of the service.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within an elderly residential or dementia care setting.
- Has a thorough understanding of care regulations and quality standards.
- Is an inspiring leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care.
- Holds, or is working towards, an appropriate management qualification.
