We’re now looking for someone to join our commercial team in a newly created role: a Commercial Project Manager who thrives on structure, clarity, and practical impact.
The Role in a Nutshell
You’ll sit at the centre of our commercial operations supporting pricing, estimating and helping us stay on top of key commercial projects.
It’s a role for someone who’s comfortable with numbers, enthusiastic about British manufacturing, and enjoys bringing clarity to messy or disjointed systems. It’s hands-on, varied, and business-critical.
What You’ll Be Doing
✅ Costing & Quoting Support
- Help build pricing and cost estimates for bespoke and repeat orders
- Build sales BOMs tracking materials, labour and profit margins
- Work closely with the MD and commercial team on getting accurate quotes out the door
✅ Supplier & Document Control
- Help manage key supplier contracts and pricing updates
- Make sure drawing files and data sheets are versioned, up-to-date, and saved correctly
- Convert DWG/DXF files to PDFs for factory use
✅ Project Management
- Ensure that customer NPD and NPI projects are run efficiently and effectively
- Own key documents, trackers and folders
- Help the wider team stay on top of what’s due, when, and why
- Spot gaps, chase actions, and keep things moving
What You’ll Need
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting
- Comfort with ERP or MRP systems (SAP B1 is a plus, but not essential)
- Good grasp of pricing, margins, costs and value
- An organised mind and an eye for detail
- A proactive, can-do approach to making things better
- Friendly, grounded, and comfortable flexing with what the day throws at you
Bonus if you can read technical drawings!

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
