We have an opportunity for a Sales Support Assistant to join our team at Volkswagen Van Centre in Portsmouth.
As a Sales Support Assistant, you will be responsible for managing our sales forecourt, greeting our customers upon arrival, and supporting the overall Sales Operation with logistics and vehicle photography.
Whether you’re a Volkswagen campervan fan or have been looking for a new challenge, you can get stuck into this role, which offers variety and a sense of ownership.
Your responsibilities will include:
Promptly and courteously meet and greet our customers from outside
Site logistics and vehicle organisation and movement of stock to support from within the Sales Team
Collection and delivery of customer vehicles
Ensure the showroom new/ used vehicle display is correctly merchandised, all vehicles are correctly priced with all POS in accordance with brand standards
Support the Customer Experience Executive with progress chasing
Fuelling vehicles
Photographing our new stock for the Marketing Team
Ensuring pre-delivery inspection and any repairs or servicing are carried out and the customer is notified of any delays.
What you will need to be a Job Title at Location Brand
Experience within a similar role in the automotive sector would be highly desirable
Focused individual who is self-motivated who can organise themselves and recognise what needs to be done to achieve the end goals
Computer skills /photography skills would be an advantage
Keen eye for detail
Ability to use own initiative with the ability to multi-task
Team player
Personable approach, with a polite and courteous manner
Full UK driving licence
Hours of work will be 42.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday - 8.30 am to 18.00 pm
