Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed to maintain hygiene and quality
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain quick service without compromising quality
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and dining areas
- Handle cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
Qualifications
- Prior barista experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure health standards are met consistently
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments is a plus
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and safety protocols
