We are looking for a reliable and hardworking full-time bar staff member to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is physically fit, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to provide excellent service while supporting all aspects of bar operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately
- Operate the till and handle payments responsibly
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked at all times
- Lift and move kegs and other heavy items safely
- Work on your feet for extended periods, providing floor service as required
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and service areas
- To use equipment and bar pumps efficiently, to maintain proper measures and ensure minimum wastage
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure harmonious working environment where employees are treated with respect
- Follow all health and safety and licensing regulations
Requirements
- Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong customer service and numeracy skills
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- Comfortable working long shifts on your feet
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Shifts are typically fixed; however, flexibility is required to cover holidays, sickness, and busy periods.
