Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining a secure environment, providing excellent customer service, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming areas continuously to identify potential hazards or unsafe behaviour.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for all patrons.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Conduct routine safety checks of pool equipment and surrounding areas.
- Assist with organising swimming lessons, competitions, or other aquatic activities as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, ensuring hygiene standards are upheld.
- Provide clear communication and guidance to swimmers regarding safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid certification in First Aid and CPR/AED is essential.
- Proven compliance management skills to enforce safety policies effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patrons and team members.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly during emergencies.
- Prior experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Physical fitness to perform rescue operations and sustain prolonged periods of vigilant monitoring.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
