We run a highly independent, specialist shop and online store. We are a small, tight-knit team, which means we don’t do corporate hierarchies or rigid boxes. We are deeply passionate about our unique products and our community of customers. Now, we need a dynamic proactive, organised, and friendly human to join us and keep the engine running smoothly.
The Reality of the Role
If you want a corporate desk job where you do the exact same thing every day, this isn't it. We need a genuine all-rounder. You will work directly with the owners, and your days will be a mix of chatting with customers on the shop floor, managing our online store, and helping where needed. If you love variety, get bored easily by repetitive tasks, and want to see how an independent business actually works from the inside, you will love it here.
What You’ll Be Doing
Because we are a small team, you will get your hands dirty with everything:
- The Shop Floor: Welcoming customers into our shop, sharing your love for our products, handling sales, and keeping the place looking great.
- Online Management: Uploading new stock to our website, product photography, and making sure online inventory levels match real life.
- Customer Chats: Answering emails and phone calls, helping customers order, track down orders, and solving any issues with a smile.
- Working on Freight: working on the daily enquiries that come in regarding shipping our products to customers around the World.
- Stock Duty: Checking quality, and keeping our stock organised and showrooms tidy.
About You
- You just get things done: You notice if the bins need emptying, a shelf looks dusty, or a customer needs help, and you handle it without being asked.
- You love people: You have integrity, easy to talk to, and genuinely care about giving people a great experience.
- You have an eye for detail: You don't send an order to the wrong address in Italy!
- You are tech-confident: You don't need to be an IT genius, but you should be totally comfortable learning our online systems (like Xero & Shopify) and using basic apps.
- You are adaptable: You can happily switch from a quiet hour of website updates, serving a busy shop floor, or helping film prop buyers put together orders of multiple products.
