Overview
Metal Roofing & Cladding are a sheet metal fabrication and roll form manufacturer based in Kidderminster.
We are looking for an experienced guillotine operator to work as part of our production team.
This a physical role requiring good communication skills.
Stock management experience would be ideal.
We specialise in aluminium and thin guage steel fabrication, experience of working with these materials is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Managing material deliveries / Goods in, ensuring material is stored correctly and safely
- Keeping track of stock used on a daily basis
- Optimising material use to reduce waste and using up off-cuts
- Working to a cut list, measuring and checking to ensure the correct material and dimensions are used
- Using a guillotine to cut blank sheets to required dimensions
- Sorting cut parts for folding / next steps in production
