The busy Garden Café at Glendoick Garden Centre is looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic part time members of staff to join its front of house team. Ideally you should have some hospitality experience although full training will be given. You should be of a cheerful nature, enjoy interacting with customers and be committed to providing excellent customer service in a busy environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality are important to us.
Main Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and seating them at their table
- Taking customer orders and receiving payment
- Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
- Clearing tables and ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
- Contributing to a positive work environment
The roles are 15 hours a week over 3 days, but start/finish times and working days can be flexible hours to suit students/parental responsibilities, although weekend working on a rota basis will be required.
Due to our location and limited public transport, applicants must have a drivers licence and have access to their own vehicle.
