Role Description The Sales Negotiator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Leicester Forest East. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling enquiries from buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants, arranging and conducting property viewings, and following up to gather feedback and progress offers. The role involves negotiating sales and lettings offers, presenting them to clients, and supporting transactions through to completion in close liaison with the estate agency and mortgage advice teams. The Sales Negotiator will update property listings, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, and ensure that all communications are timely, professional, and compliant with relevant regulations. Collaboration with colleagues to meet branch targets and deliver excellent customer service is a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in working with Estate Agents and Lettings, with an understanding of property sales and rental processes.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident telephone manner.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport, manage expectations, and handle queries professionally.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including negotiation, objection handling, and working to targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
- Comfort using CRM systems and basic office software (email, calendars, spreadsheets); willingness to learn new tools.
- Knowledge of the local property market or previous experience in real estate, lettings, or financial services is advantageous.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are beneficial for attending and conducting viewings.
- Flexible, team-oriented approach and readiness to work occasional Saturdays or extended hours when required.
