Customer Service Administrator
Location: Chiltern Distribution
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Administrator to join our team.
Working within a fast-paced logistics environment, you'll manage customer orders, coordinate stock allocation, liaise with warehouse and transport team, and ensure our customers receive an outstanding service. You'll also investigate issues, identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
- Provide exceptional service to our key customers.
- Coordinate stock allocation and monitor stock availability.
- Liaise with warehouse, transport and planning teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Investigate customer and operational issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Take ownership of customer queries through to resolution.
- Lead and attend weekly customer service review meetings.
- Monitor customer KPIs and produce reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer service.
About You
You'll have:
- Previous experience in customer service, logistics or administration.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
