Carefuge Ltd provides supported living accommodation for homeless and vulnerable adults. We are looking for a reliable, organised and professional Property Inspector & Tenant Liaison Officer to join our growing team.
This role involves visiting supported living properties, completing inspections, liaising with tenants, reporting maintenance issues and supporting the smooth running of our accommodation.
Main duties include:
- Carrying out routine property inspections
- Checking property standards, cleanliness and health and safety issues
- Completing inspection reports and maintaining accurate records
- Identifying repairs, maintenance concerns and compliance risks
- Signing up new residents and completing required paperwork
- Carrying out property handovers and inventories
- Liaising with tenants, contractors and partner agencies
- Reporting safeguarding, welfare or tenancy concerns to management
The ideal candidate will have:
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage appointments
- Good IT and record-keeping skills
- A professional and respectful approach when working with vulnerable adults
Experience in housing, supported living, property management, social care or tenant liaison would be beneficial, but training can be provided for the right person.

This role requires travel across Birmingham and surrounding areas. Appointment may be subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.
