Do you have experience supporting people living with vascular dementia?
Are you reliable, patient, compassionate and friendly?
If so, we'd love to hear from you.
We are looking for someone to provide companionship and support to an older lady living in a care home, helping her enjoy meaningful time out in the community. Having once been fiercely independent, she values opportunities to stay active and engaged.
She loves the outdoors, especially beach walks and aqua-fit classes, and enjoys sharing stories from her younger years. Warm, polite and well liked by both staff and fellow residents, she is great company and enjoys spending time with others.
If you can be a supportive companion, a good listener, and someone who can confidently maintain appropriate boundaries (she can sometimes have a playful, teenage-like streak!), this could be the perfect role for you.
Make a real difference to someone's quality of life while enjoying rewarding experiences together, apply today.
