The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our innovative and expanding Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist Service within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
We are seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist with a specialist interest in both the acute and long-term management of chronic respiratory conditions. This unique role offers the opportunity to work across an integrated multidisciplinary service, supporting patients throughout their respiratory care journey.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality Pulmonary Rehabilitation programmes across both hospital and community settings, helping people with chronic lung disease to maximise their independence, improve their quality of life, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
As part of a multidisciplinary service, the post holder will contribute to the ongoing development and redesign of respiratory services across Greater Glasgow & Clyde. This includes supporting the continued implementation and evaluation of innovative digital healthcare solutions, including the DOCCLA COPD remote monitoring service, ensuring patients receive high-quality, person-centred care closer to home.
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking registered Physiotherapist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about service improvement, digital innovation, and delivering excellent patient care. You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team working across a board-wide service, with opportunities to contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and the future direction of respiratory care.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
This is a permanent, full-time post of 36 hours per week.
The role is based at Gartnavel General Hospital.
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 16.30

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
- A recognised Physiotherapy qualification and current HCPC registration.

Post-registration experience.

Experience or a strong interest in respiratory rehabilitation and chronic respiratory disease management.

Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working skills.

A commitment to service improvement, innovation, and delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
