Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Musculoskeletal (MSK) Sonographer to join our expanding private ultrasound service.
Based across our Leighton Buzzard and Wrest Park clinics, this role offers the opportunity to work within a friendly, professional, and patient-focused team, delivering high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services.
As an MSK Sonographer, you will independently perform and report high-quality musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations, providing accurate and timely diagnostic reports to support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations with precision, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process clearly and addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently, adjusting settings for optimal image quality during each procedure.
- Produce clear, accurate, and clinically relevant diagnostic reports.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, professionalism, and communication.
- Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards and service development.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience performing musculoskeletal ultrasound procedures in a clinical setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Significant experience independently performing and reporting MSK ultrasound examinations.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient-centred care.
