3 full time nursery manager roles are available (All Year Round or Term Time) in the Bradford area. The position is full time working 5 days a week on a rota basis between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm. Exact shift times would be confirmed if successful at interview.
You will ideally hold EYPS or EYTS but a minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare (NVQ, CACHE, NNEB) is required. You will have up to date knowledge on the EYFS and safeguarding policies and must have experience in a management role within early years.
Your main duties would include:
Ensuring the nursery meets Ofsted and early years foundation stage standards
Opening and closing the nursery each day
Creating a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning
Ensuring staff are up to date with safeguarding and first aid training
Maintaining records and creating management reports
Building relationships with parents and relevant agencies
Helping within the nursery rooms if required to do so
To be successful in your application, you will:
Have a minimum of 5 years work experience with children
Have experience in a managerial role within a private nursery or children centre setting
Have experience of supervising staff
Be able to provide recent employment references including childcare
Be able to lead a team using and implementing the EYFS statutory framework
Be able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one. DBS costs covered by Blessings Daycare & Nursery
