We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to accurately diagnose faults
- Carry out welding and equipment repair as necessary to restore vehicle functionality
- Assist with the installation of new parts and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment safely
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing client concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices
- Experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, and equipment repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Customer service skills with a professional approach when interacting with clients
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are preferred but not essential

Pay: £32,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
