Playworker (Level 3 playworker ) – Aylesbury Location

Aktiva Camps Ltd is a leading provider of Breakfast and After-School Clubs, operating in schools across the Greater London and Buckinghamshire areas. We are committed to delivering fun-filled, engaging activities that ensure children are safe, happy, and active.
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Playworker (Level 3 playworker ) to join our team at a school in one of our Aylesbury settings. This role offers the flexibility to work between 16 to 37.5 hours per week, with morning (7:30 AM - 9:30 AM) and afternoon (2:30 PM - 6:00 PM) shifts available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and engage children in a variety of play activities, including arts & crafts, games, and sports
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can explore, learn, and have fun
- Assist with setting up and tidying away activities and equipment
- Prepare and serve snacks for the children
- Build positive relationships with parents and provide feedback during pickup times
- Ensure all activities adhere to health and safety guidelines
Ideal Candidate:
- Level 3 qualification or above in Playwork, Childcare, or a related field
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or play setting
- Friendly, energetic, and approachable with excellent communication skills
- Ability to create a fun and stimulating environment for children
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting children’s play
