Join Our Monkey Club – Qualified Early Years Practitioner Opportunity (Term Time Only)
We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Our Monkey Club at our Belvedere Road centre in Burton-on-Trent. This is a term-time only role, working Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm, and we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for play, curiosity, and child-led learning.
We’re looking for a qualified practitioner with a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator (or equivalent) qualification. Experience in the sector is essential - but more importantly, we’re after someone warm, enthusiastic, and ready to be part of a collaborative, reflective team.
At Our Monkey Club, our approach is centered around child-directed, process-focused play. We create open-ended, exploratory environments where children lead their own learning journeys - and we support them with meaningful interactions and thoughtful guidance.
Our Monkey Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
What the role involves:
- Being a key person for a small group of children — building strong relationships and supporting their development
- Contributing to planning, observations and assessments that spark joy and engagement
- Working closely with a supportive centre team and wider organisation of practitioners
- Advocating for playful, curiosity-driven, high-quality early years experiences every day
