Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in commercial cleaning, preferably in a hotel environment, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to meet established cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Interact with guests courteously and professionally, addressing any requests or concerns they may have.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organised for efficient use.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to assist with additional tasks such as cooking when required would be advantageous.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
