We are currently recruiting a Counter Sales Advisor to join our Balmoral (Belfast) Plumbmaster branch. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long‑term career within a successful and growing specialist merchant, offering a stable working environment alongside strong development and progression opportunities.
Provide outstanding customer service at the trade counter
Advise customers on plumbing and heating materials, offering appropriate product solutions
Process sales transactions accurately using tills and internal systems
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised branch environment
Support stock control, merchandising, and teamwork across the branch
Identify sales opportunities and assist customers with technical product queries
Strong communication skills with a professional, customer‑focused approach
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers
Experience in a fast‑paced customer service or trade counter environment
Good knowledge of plumbing materials and products (or willingness to learn and develop)
Proactive, reliable, and sales‑driven with strong attention to detail
Forklift licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
