We are seeking to employ one full time recovery driver to become part of our team. (Preferably class 1 but would consider class 2 drivers.) CPC is also required.
This is a customer facing role and one which is vital in promoting our company's professional reputation. This role requires the ability to work alone and part of a team in larger incidents, candidates will need to think on their feet and work safely at the roadside. Candidates will be required to be confident, calm and presentable in there dealings with customers. Day to day tasks will vary but your main roll we be to assist in the recovering and redelivering of both light and commercial vehicles, You must be able to carry out your vehicle daily checks in a timely manor and be able to work as part of a close family run team.
The right candidate will need to be both committed and flexible as the role does require the person to work both throughout the day and a little over their finish time. We currently have contracts with all the leading vehicle recovery agents and Devon and Cornwall police so the candidate will require police vetting as a part of the recruitment process. The hours are 08:00 - 17:00 Saturday - Wednesday with days off being Thursday and Friday.
Previous experience of vehicle recovery while advantageous is not essential as full training will be provided as well as a more in-depth hands on training session with the equipment in question.
