Why This Role Matters
As a Tax Manager, you'll take ownership of tax and statutory compliance for Dext across a genuinely international footprint - the UK, Bulgaria, South Africa, Australia, US, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and France. This is a rare opportunity for a tax professional stepping into their first standalone management role, offering both broad autonomy and the mentorship of the IRIS Group Head of Tax. Around a fifth of your time will also connect you to Group-level tax strategy, giving you visibility well beyond a typical in-house role.
What You'll Do
-
Own end-to-end multi-jurisdictional tax compliance across nine countries, including corporation tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing and R&D tax credits
-
Act as the key liaison between Dext and its external tax advisors globally, translating technical detail into practical guidance for the business
-
Prepare the UK corporate tax return in-house, alongside tax provisions and cash tax forecasting
-
Contribute to Group-wide tax matters (c. 20% of role), including Pillar Two, Corporate Criminal Offence compliance, transfer pricing policy and M&A tax due diligence
What We're Looking For
-
2–3 years' tax compliance experience, with some exposure to multi-jurisdictional obligations
-
CTA, ACA, ACCA or CPA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with strong corporate tax knowledge and working familiarity of VAT/GST
-
Confidence to operate independently, with sound judgement on when to escalate to senior stakeholders
Why You'll Love Working Here
-
Impact: Your work will influence millions globally.
-
Growth: Continuous learning and career development opportunities, backed by direct mentorship from senior tax leadership.
-
Belonging: A culture that celebrates diversity and empowers every individual.
