We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various outdoor and indoor projects, ensuring that work sites are safe, organized, and efficiently maintained. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and groundskeeping to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively for construction or maintenance projects
- Support excavation activities using equipment like excavators or manual tools to prepare sites for development or landscaping
- Perform irrigation system installation, repairs, and regular upkeep to ensure optimal water distribution
- Conduct general maintenance tasks including cleaning, repairing equipment, and ensuring work areas are safe and organized
- Help with gardening activities such as planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation to promote healthy growth
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with mechanical systems or construction materials
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction, groundskeeping, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery used in landscaping or construction environments
- Ability to operate an excavator or similar heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and horticultural practices is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform manual tasks throughout the day
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards

Pay: £16.85-£16.90 per hour
