We have a position available for a weekend Kennel Assistant to join our team in a busy boarding kennels. Duties including cleaning, exercising, feeding, bathing and giving medication and the overall daily care of our dogs that boarding and with us for doggie day care. You will also be required to contribute to the general tidiness and presentation of the kennels and be at ease with liaising with clients. This job is ideal for someone who likes to work outdoors and wants to gain valuable experience working with dogs.
Applicants must be hard working and reliable and have previous experience working with dogs or a large and small breed or have successfully completed a recognised Animal Care/Management course level 3.
Previous experience working with animals does not include your own pets and this will not be considered as relevant experience.
Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance and be prepared to work weekends, bank holidays and school holiday periods. Please ensure that you have transport due to the location of the premises and punctuality.
Pay: From £8.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17.0 per week
