Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Pay: £13.40 per hour
Hours: 40 + overtime paid at overtime rate
Company Overview: Pearl Windows is in search of a dedicated HGV class 2 driver to join our team. As part of our team, you'll be one of 9 full-time drivers, delivering UPVC windows and doors across the UK. Our drivers enjoy a supportive team environment and have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our trade customers.
What you will be doing: Driving and delivering UPVC windows and doors to our trade customers all over the UK (Manchester, Yorkshire, Midlands, North & South Wales and Scotland)
We typically deliver to the same customers on the same days and our drivers strike up a great friendship along the way. Pearl Windows drivers are the face of our business and are encouraged to create good relationships with our customer, to help us gain valuable feedback.
Other:
- All driving is done, Monday to Friday, No weekend work. All bank holiday shut down as well as a 2 week Christmas shut down.
- All loading is done by a warehouse team once a truck returns, due to this most drivers routes start around 4am and finish around 12pm – 2pm.
- Currently 3 nights out a week on rotation between other drivers, paid at overnight rate. Each driver is expected to pick one up per week.
- You need to hold a valid and up to date CPC and Tacho

- Delivery driver experience: 3 years (required)
- Driving: 5 years (preferred)
