Senior Passive Fire Estimator
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Salary: £50,000–£65,000
Working arrangement: Office-based, with potential hybrid working after probation

The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Passive Fire Estimator to join an established and growing fire protection company in Gillingham. You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for passive fire protection projects, working closely with the commercial, operational and project teams from initial enquiry through to tender submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Preparing detailed estimates and cost plans
- Completing accurate material and labour take-offs
- Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
- Preparing and submitting competitive tenders
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal delivery teams
- Supporting tender handovers following successful bids
- Managing multiple tenders while meeting deadlines
Requirements
- Strong experience estimating within the passive fire industry
- Good knowledge of passive fire protection systems and associated costs
- Previous experience within construction is preferred
- Confident reading technical drawings and specifications
- Strong commercial and numerical ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage workloads and work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Salary and Benefits
