THE COMPANY:
Infosoil Limited is a small site investigation (SI) company established for almost 30 years. Our staff have many years of experience in Geotechnical and Environmental Drilling
We pride ourselves on providing quality and timely service for our clients.
THE ROLE:
Experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
You will be based at our Knottingley, West Yorkshire Depot. Must live within 20 mile radius.
Site work can be nationwide, but most of our work is fairly local. The candidate must be willing to travel and work away from home, from time to time.
- Assisting in the drilling of Rotary drill rigs.
- Hand dig trial pits.
- Sampling and labelling of samples of soil, rock and groundwater.
- Driving 4x4 vehicle and towing rig/trailer.
- Working outdoors in all weathers at various locations.
- The work involves hard work and heavy lifting. Must be physically fit.
Occasional night and weekend shifts when required.
You will be working as part of a small and friendly on-site team, assisting drillers and reporting to the client on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will must have:
- Full clean driving licence. E, C1 or C preferred
- CSCS card
- MUST be able to pass industry-related drugs & alcohol tests on a regular basis.
- Flexible attitude to work, be motivated & willingness to learn essential.
